June 14, 2013 Agility Course opening

On Saturday, June 15th at 4pm the New Milford Dog Park, (Candlewoof Park) 44 Picket District Rd, New Milford, CT will open it's agility course. The agility course was constructed by members of the New Milford Police and Youth community Enrichment Project (a collaboration between NM Youth Agency and NM Police Department).Grant funding was made possible through the State of CT Office of Policy and Management.

We are very excited to have had the opportunity to receive this gift for our dogs. The Candlewoof Dog Park was already a wonderful asset for our Town but, the agility course makes it even better. New Milford Dog Park is a not for profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to providing a safe and secure area for dog owners and their dogs to play and socialize. New Milford Dog Park will promote responsible dog ownership and community education through our events and meetings.
